I thought Book 2 would carry on where Book 1 left off. No, it delved more in the secret agenda of Dr. Stephens and secret laboratory to study and extract pharmaceutical product from stolen bones from Sasquatch cemetery. Book 2 did continue with the friendship of Lux and Ben and their leading another, smaller, group of investigators into Piney Woods. I didn't enjoy this book as much as too much of it entwined about the secret laboratory and Dr. Stephen's harsh motivational techniques to get his scientist employees to cooperate with faster-untested results. The ending was unsatisfactory and hurried.Product details

Another great KT Tomb novel.....
Good book but ended suddenly. Maybe the ending couldn't go any other way. Keeps you on your toes.

I must have missed something, just as I was getting into the book it ended. This is more like a short short story and not a novel. The story line is great, good intrigue, some character development and then nothing. Just ended. Not worth the purchase.
